ATA Technology Committee  
The ATA Technology Committee serves the ATA’s Board of Directors and members with efforts in education, networking, and support of government affairs.  The committee provides a voice on technology issues, and a united interpretation of the compliance legislation as it relates to technology.  Committee members gather and disseminate information on new, existing or proposed technology in a non-commercialized manner.  They work to increase membership involvement within the association through technology related issues and expand membership in the technology community.  The committee provides the ATA a resource upon which to rely for technology issues and comments on proposed regulations as they relate to technology, presents a united forum to regulators as it relates to technology, and supports the Government Affairs Committee by reviewing potential proposed legislation or rules that affect membership.

Mission Statement

The ATA Technology Committee Serves the ATA Board and Membership in the following ways:

In Education:

  • To provide a voice on technology issues.

  • To provide the ATA a resource on which to rely for technology expertise, interpretation and communication.

  • To gather and disseminate information on new, existing or proposed technology in a non commercialized manner.

In Networking:

  • To expand ATA membership within the technology community.

  • To increase membership involvement within the association through technology related issues.
In Government Affairs:
  • To provide a united interpretation of compliance legislation as it relates to technology.

  • To present a united forum to the regulators as it relates to the regulatory impact on technology and the technical feasibility of regulations.

  • To provide comment on proposed regulations as they relate to technology in their impact and feasibility.

  • To support Government Affairs by reviewing potential proposed legislation or rules that affect membership.
