ATA Launches New Mountain Chapter
After months of planning and preparation, ATA’s Mountain Chapter hosted a special launch event to coincide with the ATA Compliance and SRO Seminars held March 14-15, 2008 in Denver. A cocktail reception sponsored by TouchStar, a Denver-based company, was held immediately following the Thursday seminar to officially launch the Mountain Chapter. The event was a great success with approximately 35 attendees along with members of the Chapter Board and ATA staff in attendance. In addition, several new members joined ATA, and several prospective members participated as well.
The ATA Compliance Seminar was held at the JW Marriott in Cherry Creek with Tim Searcy, CEO of the ATA kicking off the event. Mitch Roth, ATA General Counsel, then facilitated an interactive day-long compliance workshop. A second day of programming was offered on Friday to introduce the ATA Self Regulatory Organization (SRO).
The Mountain Chapter launch received great reviews from the attendees and promises to be just the beginning of a strong, successful chapter. The chapter continues to seek new members.
