Chapter President's Retreat

On January 12 & 13, we had our second annual Chapter Presidents Retreat at our National headquarters in Indianapolis.  This event serves as a kick off for the new year and brings all our presidents in for an exciting calibration session with our staff and CEO, Tim Searcy and our Chairman of the Board, Stuart Discount.

The first day goals were set and a true working session paced quickly through the afternoon.  Our staff reviewed, membership, sponsorship, the Leadership Summit in DC, the 2005 Compliance Seminars & High Performance Series, and of course our National Convention, this year in San Diego.  The evening ended with a fantastic dinner at Maggiano’s and a review of the ATA National strategic plan by our CEO, Tim Searcy.

The second day, focused on locking in the chapter event dates into the national ATA calendar, reviewing the ATA marketing plan, and completing the chapter standards and incentive plan as defined by the Chapter Presidents Committee. We’ve scheduled events to focus around the new issues around compliance, changes in technology, international obstacles and opportunities, and we’ve got even more networking opportunities for 2005.

This retreat was a BIG success, it brought us all together as a team, gave us great strategic focus, and made sure you as members have some networking and educational at the regional level.

Why should you be more involved with your local chapter?

Each chapter provides networking opportunities and educational services for multiple states in its area by holding several events throughout the year that provide ample opportunity for members by providing a localized forum through which call center practitioners can unite to promote education, professionalism, compliance and goodwill in the teleservices industry and within member companies through a variety of events focused on enrichment, networking, and sharing of best practices.

Each chapter provides a platform where industry related teleservices professionals can participate in the American Teleservices Association in their local area.

Each chapter provides an integrated platform of education, networking and social activities that exceeds the expectations of our members, while providing innovation, creativity, proven methodologies and the ability to interact with the local resources of the ATA.
